Rustic Finds: Loop and Twig Wreaths
Mom wanted to replace her evergreen wreath with something that can be used year round. She is in search of something around 24″ that will look good no matter what season. Since it was cold and we didn’t want to leave the house, we headed over to Amazon to window shop. We found three cool wreaths that we wanted to share with you.
I love this loop shaped wreath with burgundy and gold pips for it’s rustic yet elegant charm. It’s only 12″ so mom said it would be too small for her door. I think it would look great above a mirror or on the door of a narrow closet.
This rustic bittersweet twig wreath with orange berries is a little larger at 27″. It’s a little to big for mom but would make a great year round door wreath. Bittersweet is also an invasive plant that strangles other local plants as it grows so using it to make wreaths or to decorate with is good. It helps to cut it back and slow it’s growth down.
Mom really loved the look of this country berry pip wreath but it’s still too small for her at 20″. I guess we’ll have to brave the cold in search of the perfect size 24″ wreath. Do you have a favorite wreath artist? Share your finds with us.
